Payroll

Payroll for small businesses, right every pay day.

Paying your staff correctly and on time matters more than almost anything else you do. I help sort your payroll, getting the payslips sent and reporting to HMRC, whether it is one director or a whole team.

In short

What does a payroll service do?

It works out each employee's pay after income tax, National Insurance, pension contributions and any other deductions, produces their payslips, and reports it all to HMRC through Real Time Information on or before every payday. I sort it for you, every pay period.

Questions

Payroll, asked and answered.

Something else on your mind? Ask me directly. I reply within 1 business day.

I only need to pay myself. Is payroll still worth it?

For most directors, yes. A salary run through payroll can use your personal allowance, count towards your state pension and reduce the company's corporation tax. It is small, regular work, which is why it starts from £30 a month.

How often can you run payroll?

Weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly or monthly, whatever suits the business.

What does it cost?

From £30 a month. The price depends mostly on how many people are on the payroll and how often they are paid.
